Cleopatra – The Last Pharaoh

Composers Anthony Berlin and Alex Hummingson have been inspired by the legend of Cleopatra VII Philopator (69 BC – 30 BC), the last pharaoh of Ancient Egypt.

Together, Mr. Berlin and Ms. Hummingson have tried to paint a vivid picture of this icon by composing a number of themes incorporated in three pieces of music (Main Theme, Battle March, Aftermath), which you will have the opportunity to listen to on

Rather than shining a light on the times she lived in, they are focusing on Cleopatra VII’s personal life – from when she gained power at the age of 18 until her dramatic death.

Notably, throughout the whole process of composing and producing this music, Mr. Berlin and Ms. Hummingson have not met even once – they have collaborated via the Internet only.
